Wpn't open in editor

My elements will open but not allow me to open any picture to edit. I use to open them right in Adobe, now it say all those photpgraphs and not connected.... just stated doing this yesterday...any idea, I am at my wits end?

What OS and version of Elements are you using? 

If you are trying to use an older catalog in the Organizer but have moved or deleted the files, they will become disconnected and cannot be sent to the Editor from the Organizer.

Please give us a little more detail about what you are trying to do.
