Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 won't update PC Windows 10

When I open the program a window pops up saying "You have a new update!"  When I click "Install Now," the program closes and a window to the Microsoft store opens which says "You'll need a new app to open the auphd link.  Look for an app in the microsoft store."  Can anyone tell me how to fix this.  It is annoying and comes up every time I use the program.

Thanks

Try installing the update as administrator using the two command prompts below.

For detailed instructions see my short video demo.

cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\HDBox

Set-up.exe --update=1 --sapCode="PSE" --productPlatform="win64" --codexVersion="18.1"

Thank you for your reply.

I tried your suggestion and the program still wouldn't update.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Elements and that seemed to do the trick.

Thanks

Cheers
