Hello,

Today I purchased Photoshop Elements 2021 and Premiere Elements 2021 via the Adobe website.

After downloading the software I wanted to start it up, but in order to activate the program, you need to sign in with your Adobe account and password. That's what I have done, but then everytime I am thrown back to the sign in page. I tried different things, even remove and download the package again, but I keep having the same issue. I am using a new MacBook Pro 13" with MacOS Catalina.

What am I doing wrong here? Does anyone know?

Since I know nothing about Macs, all I can suggest is to contact Adobe Support.

Have you been presented with a screen to enter your serial number?  In Windows, the screen is sometimes hidden behind another window.

Thanks for your reply Greg. I do not get the option to enter the serial number. I guess I first need to get passed the sign in page in order to get to the page where I can activate the program with the serial number. So first I need to sign in.

As I said, I know nothing about Macs.  But sign in problems are sometimes related to the Hosts file on your computer. You can try editing that file and removing all entries related to Adobe.  Here is what a quick Google search found for editing the Hosts file on a Mac.  If you're not comfortable doing that, then definitely initiate a chat session with Adobe by going to the Adobe.com website and clicking the blue Contact Us button under the Support menu.

I will try to contact Adobe Support first, before I will modify anything on my just newly bought Mac.

But thanks for your suggestions. I will keep them in mind.
