Cannot import photos with scanner

I use Windows 10, Elements 2020, Epson V800 scanner with a wire connection. With my organizer running I click on Import then from scanner. But the popup says: "This device could not be launched. The device is not connected or is busy". Can you please help?  -  Also, I'm not sure how to respond to your postings...please let me know how to answer you. Thank you very much.

Have you downloaded the drivers for WIN 10 from the Epson web site for your V800 ?

By the way, can you scan with the software that came with the scanner?

Hmm...I didn't know about Epson's WIN 10. I also didn't know that Epson had scanning software (if I'm understanding you). I'll reach out to Epson and see what help they can offer....thank you kindly.
