Let me give you some context.. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Laptop.  Purchased in 2017.  Orginally the video was heard in organizer.  Within the last few months, 5-6 months ago. I could not hear video, could not hear tutorials and I could net here you tube instructions via internet.  I ran a test and ran the internet and photoshop tutortials via Microsoft and I could hear the tutorials and internet but not the photoshop videos.  I made Microsoft my preferred web browser and I can hear you tube and photoshop videos.  But I can't here the videos in organizer.  I've gone into video manager and looked at default audio and it looks ok.  There is nothing in related to web browser.

Hi there,

Sorry that you cannnot hear audio in Photoshop Elements.

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using and on which OS? It seems that a preference in the app is not playing the audio via the default sound selected on your computer. Restoring the app preferences might be helpful.

Preference settings control how Photoshop Elements Editor displays images, cursors, and transparencies, saves files, uses plug‑ins and scratch disks, and so on. If the application exhibits unexpected behavior, the preferences file could be damaged. You can restore all preferences to their defaults.

Note: Deleting the preferences file is an action that cannot be undone.

Do one of the following:

  • Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Mac: Option+Command+Shift) immediately after Photoshop Elements begins launching. Click Yes to delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements settings file.
Go to Edit > Preferences (Mac: Photoshop Elements > Preferences > General), click the Reset Preferences on next launch button, and then click OK. When you restart Adobe Photoshop Elements, all preferences are reset to default settings.

A new preferences file is created the next time you start Photoshop Elements Editor. For information on a specific preference option, search for the preference name in Help

Thanks,

Akash

Since your question is about not hearing audio in the Organizer, you need to do as Akash Sharma says when opening the Organizer (not the Photoshop Elements Editor).  (Also, there is no reset preferences on next launch button for the Organizer).
