Downloading complete folders into Elements Organiser

My copy of Elements 11 is in a right mess. I have spent several hours ensuring that all my pictures are in one FOLDER. All 17000 of them!

I have tried importing the folder to Organiser with no success. Opening the Pictures folder shows multiple sub-folders and then, of course, the pictures.

Can anybody help me to import the folder completely. I could of course do it the hard way but that would take many hours of hard work.   Many thanks.

Thanks for that Michael.

I have spent a couple of concernted hours sorting this out. SUCCESS!!

It would appear that I had been trying to dounload from One Drive (no success) and explorer (no success).

Instead I downloaded from MY PC in Explorer. Then to my pictures where the complete folders were available.

Then to my pictures and downloaded them all which took about 40 minutes. Thaks for all your help.

What did you do, in details?

Just create a new catalog and import, not 'in bulk', but from the "Pictures" folder only.

Thanks for your quick response Michael.

Organiser - Import - from files and folders - (click on) picture copy(104gb)

Result:   Presented with over a 100 files each with several pictures. A folder can be imported but I really did not want to spend hours importing files.

If you import a folder, you'll import also all its subfolders at the same time. I don't see where there is a problem.

Maybe a screenshot of your master pictures folder in the explorer could help?
