Edit in Progress

I'm a new user to Elements 2019 and when editing and saving a photo I still see 'Edit in Progress' across my photo? Why? And how do I get rid of it?

After saving the photo, do you actually close it?  If not, the Organizer will still show the file as an Edit in Progress.  Does the message still show if you close the Editor?
