Can you explain in more detail what you are trying to do? If you are in the Organizer, you select a file that you want to delete and hit the delete key. You will then be asked to confirm whether you want to delete the file from the Organizer and also whether you want to delete the file from the hard drive also. It is best to delete files from your hard drive while in the Organizer. Otherwise, the thumbnail will remain in the catalog until it is deleted from there.
If you are talking about something else, please explain.

Hi,as mentioned,I’m trying to delete ‘recently edited files’ in Photoshop Elements 12 editor not organiser. I know you can input a ‘zero’ in edited files under the Edit/Preferences tab but this does not delete anything. If not in this version of Elements is there a later version that will allow you to delete ‘Recently Edited Files’ in Editor ,thanks,Peter.
