Hello.

I look for some information about this topic and I cannot find usefull one related with.

So, is it possible to add, to embed my own Color profile to Camera raw using with Adobe Elemenst 2020?

What i found it is only Lightroom or diferent software of course much more expensive than mine what let me do this easly, but I have not got it.

What kind of files do I have to use to do this?

Well, maybe it is not imppossible using this cheep version of Adobe product?

Can someone help me in it?

Can explain more about your purpose? Is it to 'embed' a custom profile into a file for printing?

I can't see how embedding a profile would have any meaning in the ACR module. Everything you do when you edit in ACR is processed according to the ACR default color profile (sort of Prophoto). With Elements ACR, the converted file is sent to the editor depending on your preference for color management. If you have set it to 'optimize for displays', you'll open a sRGB image, if you set it to 'optimize' for print, it will be aRGB'.  If before using PSE you have used Lightroom or other software to embed a 'custom' or alternative profile before opening, that profile will be recognized and used internally. For instance a file with embedded Prophoto from LR will be recognized. You can keep it if you want but beware of your printing options which may assume sRGB or aRGB. You can also convert that 'custom' profile into sRGB or aRGB in PSE, but that's all.

In the past I have seen a conversion utility provided by a printing provider  to be able to let PSE embed a custom paper profile.

Thank you for a respond.

Yes, I will try to explain as easly as possible what I need and what I want to get there.

As an exaple I leave here a link to Youtube video which explains everything what I mean, I think so.

https://youtu.be/CTlugQd3L5g?t=1018

As I meantioned this thing can be easly prepair using Lightroom or other softwear.

I want use these kind of color profile in my Adobe Elements 2020 which also inclued Camera raw 12 in it.

I don't wnat use these profiles to calibrate some printer or Lcd monitor, maybe in the future I'll try to calibrate these ones.

Alright, I think that I missed up some small detail prepairng the profile I haven't instaled this software what this guy mentions in this video about - Colorchecker Passport or Adobe version of this software.

I hope that my explaination and purpose is clear now?

More info from Xrite:

Now your purpose is clear. The outlined process is to create a camera profile. I have no experience with it but I think it can be done with Elements ACR.

That said, if there is already a profile for your camera model in ACR I think it would be much more important to calibrate your monitor, which requires the purchase of a calibration hardware.

hello!

I've investigated this topic carfully and I found a reason why it was not working then, so the case was easy and simply, I only had to connect my camera with Elements 2020 and to create profile and it's done, but there is one issue what I do not understand, namly the Elements 2020 does not see files in window when I wnat to choose one and apply in it.

I wondered what is going on and honestly I have no idea at this moment but I found a way how to force the open this files, ther's enought to write down the name of profile in to a bar commend and after that we are able to choose the correct profile and can use it.

Everything appears at the main menu in profiles bar.

if I find the reason why this progam does not see the files everything will be solved at all.

To everyone who wants get almost excelent pictures I recomend to create these profiles to your own camera and using to set correct exposition in your pics and to have always pretty ones.
