Elements Organizer busy while printing

When I try to print pictures I get the message organizer busy.  Don't know how or why.  Can't get rid of busy

Sorry that you cannot print from Photoshop Elements as Organizer says it's busy.

I cannot recall this issue or can provide any suggestions to help the cause as I am not sure what exactly is happening when you attempt to print. To gather some more details, please share the below info:

• A screenshot of the error message.
• Version of Photoshop Elements are you using.
• Operating system (Mac or Windows) that you are using Elements Organizer on?
• Make and model of printer and the version of printer driver.

I get the same message without printing. Nothing works. suspect it is because an automatic backup was killed because it seemed to hang in the catalogue preparation phase for hours
