help with elements 6 share

I still have elements 6 but can no longer share via email, every time that I try it tell sme that the adobe email is defunct, I have never used this method it used to send from either a bt or hotmail account. Can someone give an idiots guide as to how to correct this?

What operating system are you using?

I'm not sure the Adobe E-Mail Service exists anymore.

If in the Organizer you go to Edit>Preferences>Sharing, are you able to change the E-Mail client to something else?

Thank you, I have tried this and it continues to flash up the Adobe email message.
I have windows.
