Hide sub categories

I have some categories that I would like to hide so I don't see the photos inside the categories.

I want to have the possibility to easilly make them visible again.

Is it possible to do that? Can anyone help me?

You can select the images you want to hide and click on Edit>Visibility>Mark as Hidden. 

When you want to see the hidden files, go to View>Hidden Files>Show All Files or Show only Hidden Files.

(If you are talking about keyword tag categories, check the keyword box so only the files in that category are selected.  Then hit Ctrl+A to select all of the files.)
