I may want to buy Photoshop Elements 2019, so I have installed the Dutch 30-day trial version on my desktop.

When I have uploaded a photo and I want to apply a filter, I get an error message:

"You can no longer assign virtual tiles"

Is there anyone who can say something meaningful about this?

I have Windows 10 version 1809 on my desktop.

Hi Henrik,

Sorry to hear that, usually that means that your scratch disks are out of space. Could you please check how much space is left on the computer?

You can also try changing the scratch disk and see if it helps. Go to Edit > Preferences > Scratch Disks to change the Active Scratch disk.

Regards,
Sahil

Hi Sahil, thank you for your fast reaction.

I have been searching meanwhile and found out that it has something to do with rights.

If i start the editor with administration rights the problem is solved,

The question now is whether I have installed trial version incorrectly?

And how should I install it then?

Thank you for your reaction Sahil,

I changed the rights as mentioned by you.

But I still get the error message: "You can no longer assign virtual tiles"

Then I also changed the permissions of "c: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Adobe" and "c: \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Adobe \" but that did not give the desired result either.

If I start the editor with administration rights everything goes well ...
