The basics:

- the license is for a single user.

- you can install in many computers, but to be able to use the software, it must be 'activated' which is done in 'signing in' to Adobe activation servers. You are allowed two activations at the same time, typically a desktop and a laptop which you can use alternatively. If you have another device, you can activate it when you have deactivated a previously activated one.

- the versions for Windows or Mac are separate if you download from Adobe or other online vendors. However if you buy 'boxed' versions you get installers for both systems with the same license number.
