I have PSE 2020 installed on both of my PCs. My main PC is a Windows 10 Pro desktop PC. My secondary PC is a Windows 10 Pro laptop PC. Both PCs are Windows 10 Pro v1903, have the same amount of memory (32 GB), the same video adapter (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti), the same 500 GB SSD boot drive, and similar sized HDDs.

On Jan 13th the PSE 2020 on my desktop was updated to Elements version 20200105.m.139301. I am STILL waiting for my Laptop PC to get the same update.

Don't worry, you should not have received the first notice to update (which only solves Mac bugs).

As Michel says the update was primarily concerning Mac OS Catalina.

Strangely, the release notes referenced at the link below have disappeared.

The update installed like a new install with log in and license number requirement, which is unusual. I had to reset my preferences and to disable all automatic processes. Since that update does not mean anything for Win users, it appears that Win users no longer get the notification.
