Loading image into Editor after ACR processing

Hi

Previously when I loaded an image into the Elements 2018 Editor, it filled the whole editing window.

Starting yesterday it now loads as a small portion of the image in the top left corner of the screen.

I then have to drag it down into the window. Getting an exact match of areas then takes time.

It is almost like a large thumbnail but it is only a small are of the image.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I do not intend to upgrade to PSE 20190 in the immediate future, will Adobe issue a fix for the 2018 bug, they should!!!

Yes, that is a bug in PSE 2018 when you choose to set your preferences to 'open documents in floating windows'.

You have to click on the 'layout' icon in the bottom icons bar, and to choose 'all floating'.

The bug is fixed in PSE2019.
