If MAC OS was set to catalina, photoshop elements14 stopped working, but do you have a cause and how to deal with it?

Cause: 1. Apple decide to stop your old apps running in Catalina, so everyone needed to buy upgrades. 

2. Despite all the warnings you upgraded to Catalina without checking. 

Solution: buy latest apps.
