NRW raw files not opening in Photoshop

I am new to this so excuse my inexperience. I am using Nikon Coolpix A1000 and shooting in Raw (NRW files). I cannot open them in my Photoshop Elements 14 (Ver 14.1). I have use dteh help function to search for updates and appaently there are none. Do I need to move to a later PSE (2020?) or am I missing something obvious. Thanks in advance for your help

There will be no updates for older software like PSE14. You could move to PSE 2020 which has recently been released. Or use the Adobe free DNG converter to change your Nikon files into Adobe raw (DNG)
