old copy of photoshop elements 8

have an old copy of Photoshop Elements 8 including installation key on a CD and have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro7 without an optical drive. Can I install this program off of Adobe's site and use my existing key to activate it? or is there some other method you can suggest.

Try this link, follow the instructions carefully. If it doesn't work, you'll have to get an external DVD drive.

Photoshop Elements Version 8 is compatible up to Windows SP / Vista /7.
Installation on Windows 10 is at your own risk.

If you have access to a computer with CD drive, copy the PSEv.8 disk to a thumb drive, then install via USB on your new computer.
