Opening a photo in the editor from the organiser

when i open a photo in pse18 editor it shows as a thumbnail in the top left hand corner. how do i get it to open full size in the centre of the screen

It's an annoying bug in PSE2018 when you are working in floating windows.

Perhaps the most acceptable workaround is to click on the 'Layout'  icon in the bottom of the screen and to chose 'Float all'. That works for several open files at the same time.

No, they only fixed it in PSE2019. Older versions are never updated after a new one is ready...
