I have Lightroom 6 and Photoshop Elements 2020. I am trying to Stack photos to get the best clearest image. I select 2 images that I want to stack and right click and go to Edit In. Then I try and go to Open as layers in Photoshop but it's all grayed out and will not let me click on it. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure open as layers works with Photoshop Elements. I think it's looking for the Photoshop app. Do you have Photoshop installed on your computer?

You can open both files into the PSE 2020 Editor app. From the photo bin select one photo and press Ctrl+A to select all and from the menu choose:

Edit >> Copy

Select the second image in the photo bin and from the menu choose:

Edit >> Paste

Both images will now be stacked as layers.

I've moved this question to the correct forum for what you want to do. That is the PS Elements forum.
