photos won't open in organizer

I'm comparing Elements with Corel Photoshop to determine which program to purchase.  I'm transferring photos from Windows 7 to new Windows 10 computer. I've added a collection of around 200 photos with my flash drive. In my files and also in Corel, all photos appear. In Elements, about half of them won't open; I get gray icon only instead of the photo. So far, I haven't put the rest of my 12K photos on my new computer.

Could you let me know the size of an image in pixels which does not load in Elements Organizer?

There are image size limits which Organizer supports. You could also check out the maximum supported sizes at: Photoshop Elements maximum image size limits
