Photoshop Editor 2020 stopped loading this morning

Help!  This is a major problem and disappointment with the product.  And the inability to get any product support isn't helping.

I’m running your Photoshop Elements 2020 software under MacOS Catalina v 10.15.2 (19C57) on an iMac.

Can you launch the Editor app directly from Finder?

Go to:

Applications >> Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 >> Support Files

Inside the Support Files folder right-click (control-click) on Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor and choose Open

No - could not launch from Finder.. tried that.. however..

I successfully used Adobe Chat Support - the issue was file permissions somehow were alterred - the Adobe Support Technician fixed the permissions issue and I'm back editing photos.
