Photoshop elements 14 Text Bubble

When I open a jpg document and place a talk bubble on the document and start typing text no gets entered. Have used this program before with no problem. Don't know what happen even when Adobe reinstalled it again. I still can't get to type text into the speech bubble.

I assume that you are accessing a talk bubble via the custom shape tool. Set your foreground color chip to white, then drag out the bubble on your picture. The inside of the bubble should be white. Change your foreground color chip to black Activate the type tool and add the text. Does that work for you?

You have to manually add a text layer.  Speech bubbles do not contain placeholders for text.
