photoshop elements 2018

Hi guys really need your help, for some reason over the past 24 hours, when i import a video in photoshop elements 2018 the video simple does not play, i have tried mulitpule videos that all play on other programs, and this has all happened in the last 24 hours.

Are you talking about playing a video in the Organizer or in Premiere Elements? 

Are you getting any error message.? If so, tell us exactly what it says or,  better yet, give us a screenshot. 

Have you installed any new software within the last 24 hours and/or have you had a Windows update installed? 

What is the format of the video and what is the source of the video?
