Photoshop Elements 2019 will not recognize my serial number

I had Photoshop Elements 2018.  I upgraded my Mac OS which did not work for my computer so I had to erase my hard drive and go back to an older OS.  I had read that Adobe could help you to download and reinstall the program (since they won't sell you a disc).  I worked with someone in chat.  They gave me the link to download Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 and said my serial number would work with this program.  Photoshop Elements 2019 will not take my password and the specialist at Adobe told me to check here to find a solution.

Any ideas?

Perhaps you can get a download link via the instructions here:

If this does not work for you, suggest that you initiate another chat session with Adobe. Tell the functionary that you do not want help with the software, just the link.
