Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 had been working fine on my PC with Windows 10, but suddenly it will not open the editor workspace (Organizer still works). When I use the troubleshooter, it reports that Elements 2020 is incompatible.

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop Elements 2020.

Please ensure that all available Windows updates are installed on the computer. You can also check if the application is running in compatibility mode for an older Windows version. Please check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUJjuft2yN8

You can locate the exe for Photoshop Elements editor by going to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2020 and then right click on the Photoshopelementseditor.exe to check the compatibility settings.

Regards,

Nikunj

Did what you suggested but there is no "exe" to right click on at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2020. I took a screenshot of what there is, but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach that to this note.

Hi Walt,

Please try to uninstall and re-install the application to check if that helps. The .exe should be at the location you specified and if it isn't there, re-installing the application might help with the issue.
