Photoshop Elements 2020 Organizer is crashing on Mac

I purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements 2020 this morning on to my Mac. Every time i try to use the organiser it quits. Any suggestions why would be gratefully received.

That should not be happening as Photoshop Elements 2020 Organizer is crashing on your Mac whenever you try to use it. 

Which version of macOS are you using?

Hello Akash - thank you for your reply. I am using High Sierra. I followed your guidlines and it seems that resetting the catalogue has worked.
