I recently purchased a new computer (WIndows 10) and installed Elements 2021.  I had Elements 13.1 imstalled on my old computer (Windows 7).  How BEST to transfer the content in Version 13.1 to the new 2021  version [without loosing all the cataogues, albums, people etc]?  Maintaining continuity between versions was why I purchased the 2021 version.

The best way is to backup your catalog on your old computer using Elements 13, then restore the backup to your new machine using Elements 2021.  The new version will recognize your old backup and will convert it to an Elements 2021 catalog.  You will need to backup the catalog to an external drive to make the move.
