When I open my photos on my mac in my photos album they look clear. When I transfer them to PSE 20 they appear to be grainy and pixelated. I eidted one and saved it and it then opened it back up and looks horrible, not clear at all. I dont know why the transfer is messing up the photo. Anyone know why?

Problem or error
Is it possible that the full thumbnail has not been generated? Try selecting the photo and then choose Update Thumbnail from the Edit menu. (On Windows, the kb shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+U. I assume it is Cmd+Shift+U on a Mac.)
