Problems with stacking, expanding photos, changing top photo

I am not able to expand a photo stack, I have to use the unstack command and then reselect and and stack again. There are no arrows on the left or right of the thumbnail photo to simplify this option. "Set as top photo" cannot be selected.

Let me guess...

You are after photo stacks in the organizer?

If so, switch from the default 'adaptative grid' view (fills the display with contiguous images) to the 'detailed' view (shortchut Ctrl D).

You'll be able to display the file names, the date and the small icons for tags and version sets.
