PS Elements 13 installed on Mac High Sierra. What should I upgrade to?

Hello! My first post. I thought I'd see an update in PS Elements 13 under the Help menu but it says I am up-to-date. Am I correct there are not updates to Elements and you just buy a new version? I don't mind that, I just want to make sure I get the correct version. I'm on a Macbook Pro running High Sierra and don't want to find out the 2020 version, for example, isn't compatible. Thoughts appreciated.
