ps elements 15-on drop down menus under image divide scanned photos is greyed out

I'm using win 10-64 2 screens when I scan to elements 15 drop down menus under image ,divide scanned photos is greyed out as well as many other choices. can you help Thanks Peggy

Make sure your in Expert and also under Image>Mode that RGB Color is checked and your in 8 Bits/Channel.
