Is it possible to have two versions installed on the same PC so that I can  have my older photos in PSE 15 but also have newer photos accessible in PSE 2019?

Thanks for looking,

Thomas

Yes they are both independent apps and will happily sit side by side.

Just be aware that while both application will work happily side by side, you have to choose a strategy to manage different catalogs. Anything you do in a catalog is ignored in the other catalog, whether the catalogs are in the same version or not. You can always 'convert' an old catalog to the current version, but not the other way round. Your older PSE will not be able to use the catalogs of the new one.

Using the latest version for new photos only would be a good strategy

Yes, and I may add:

locating new imported files in the new catalog under a different master folder would also help importing new files in the old catalogs from their original organizer.

Thanks to all who replied. I may have to go down this route but we'll see.

Best to all,
