Is there anyway i can get PSE15 to read Canon M6 mk2 cr3 raw files

Adobe Community Professional
Correct answer by MichelBParis | Adobe Community Professional

Probably most frequent faq:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements/faq-will-photoshop-elements-work-with-my-camera-or-why-won-t-my-raw-files-open/td-p/4303022?page=

The links tell you that, as expected, an old software can't edit raw files of any newer camera.

The first link tells you need ACR 11.4,

The second tells you would need to buy the latest PSE2020.

The free solution is explained:

Download the free DNGconverter (not a plugin), but a standalone software.

It can batch convert a whole folder of proprietary raw files to the universal DNG raw format that old cameras can read and edit. An additional step, but free and the same quality.

Many thanks Michel.

Was hoping to upgrade PSE15, but will use the DNG solution
