I just purchased a new desktop and installed Photshop Elements 2019.  When I go to restore my catalog, it times out and does not restore the catalog.  The catalog has 90,923 files and is 33.2GB in size.  Any idea whay the restore does not work?  Can I reduce the size of the catalog by breaking it up into smaller sizes?

Please explain what you mean by "it times out."  A catalog of that size is going to take many, many hours to restore.  Are you receiving any error message?  It would be normal for Windows Task Manager to show that the program is "nonresponsive".  All you may need is some more patience.

Was the catalog created in Elements 2019?
