PSE 2020 - Is it possible to apply the same effect ( Eg NR ) to a multiple sequence of images?
Hi Robert,
The File > Process Multiple Files feature allows you to perform the following Quick Fixes on all the images in a specific folder or on all open images:
- Auto Levels
- Auto Contrast
- Auto Color
- Sharpen
Outside of these 4 Quick Fixes, you can open all the images you want to apply a specific filter to, then using the Photo Bin, select the first open image. Apply the filter (e.g. Reduce Noise). Select the next image in the Photo Bin and use the Ctrl / Command + F keyboard shortc

Hi Robert,
The File > Process Multiple Files feature allows you to perform the following Quick Fixes on all the images in a specific folder or on all open images:

Outside of these 4 Quick Fixes, you can open all the images you want to apply a specific filter to, then using the Photo Bin, select the first open image. Apply the filter (e.g. Reduce Noise). Select the next image in the Photo Bin and use the Ctrl / Command + F keyboard shortcut to apply the filter again with the same settings. Repeat the process for all your open images. It's a lot quicker than constantly opening up the filter dialog window for each image 🙂
An alternative method would be to go to File > Open in Camera Raw then select all the images you want to apply the same adjustment to. Once Camera Raw has opened the images, use Ctrl / Command + A to select all the images, then adjust the sliders on the right to make any changes, e.g. NR. Click Done to save all the images and close Camera Raw.
Don't forget Camera Raw works with JPEG images as well as raw files.
And the Elements Organizer also can edit multiple images at the same time too. Select all the images you want to edit and click the Instant Fix button in the Taskbar. From the Instant Fix dialog window you can make the following adjustments to all the images in one go:
- Effects
- Smart fix
- Light
- Color
- Clarity
Hope that helps.

Thanks for your comprehensive reply Phil.
I had founf Process Multiple Images shortly after I posted, but appreciate the Camera Raw solution as even better.
Thanks again,
