is it possible to save/export the settings of Photoshop Elements 2021, e. g. to import them later on a newer computer?

Michel and I have been using Elements for many years and I don't know if it is possible either.  If you really want to try it out, you could copy the old preference files from the locations listed here and replace the files on the new computer.  The worst that could happen is that you would have to reset the preferences if they didn't work (or you might have to reinstall the entire program).  Frankly, that isn't worth the trouble for me.  I usually go through the Preferences dialog and change th

I talked to someone from the German Adobe support.

 

I was said that it's possible, but it's not recommended either, because errors may happen due to various hardware and software specifications.
