The Update Server Is Not Responding in Photoshop Elements

In trying to update my version of Photoshop Elements I get the error "The Update Server Is Not Responding.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi Bruce

Adobe only provides updates for the current version - PSE 2019. If you have an earlier version it is most likely already fully patched and there will be no further updates.

Yes, but I purchased this version (2018) in April of 2018 and since it’s

first launch, I was being asked to update it and due to the error, I could

not do it.

Possibly you are missing a camera raw update. But do you need it? Are you shooting in raw or the more common jpeg.

So no need to worry about the update. Just ignore it.
