Uninstall Old Versions After Upgrade

I have recently upgraded from PSE14 to PSE2019.

I notice PSE14 remains installed on my PC. PSE2019 is operating well and I no longer PSE14.

Is it safe to uninstall PSE14? Do others uninstall the older versions when they upgrade?

Thanks.

Hi cabat10_68

If you see all your images, app preferences, custom presets, settings migrated to the new version of Photoshop Elements, it is absolutely safe to uninstall the older version of the application.

Thanks,

. . .  but there is also no problem in keeping both versions installed on your computer.  You can treat it as a safety backup.  And there are some features in 2014 that have changed in 2019, e.g. Slideshow creations.  So, if you prefer the former, you can keep working with it.
