Dear Sirs,

we have problems validating our serial number of photoshop elements 2020. After having successfully installed that program and entered the serial number, we were not able to get it validated.

We have already tried to delete the adobe-related host files by use of the recommended tool, which we have downloaded.

The internet connection is life and we have access to the internet.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards.

The serial number commences 1057 (24 numbers, no letters)

Some purchases come with a redemption code (numbers & letters) which must be used to obtain a serial number.

See if this link helps.

Dear 99jon,

thank you very much for your reply. unfortunately, that did not solve the problem: the disk had the 24 digit numeral code labeled serial number on it.

@JJSchwartz, this is an old thread and we can't tell if your problem is really the same as the one discussed here.  First of all, we need to know what version of Elements you are using.  Second, please describe in more detail what problem you are having.  If you are getting an error message, please post a screenshot (or give us the exact wording of the message and when it appears).

If you are using Elements version 2020 or earlier, try installing the Creative Cloud desktop application before activating your program.  You do not need to purchase any Creative Cloud applications, but this program may need to be installed in order to address licensing issues.
