Opacity of text layer - how to keep full opacity??

When pasting a new text layer in the App, the image seems full saturation/opacity/opaque, but when i click off the text seems to be translucent and lower opacity and i cant see how to adjust it.. thanks for your advice.. 

Also id love to be able to change leading (space between the lines) on this if it is possible..
