Open pictures on memory card/external HDD?

Hello!

I am new to Adobe Photoshop Express and have most of my photos on an external memory card/HDD connected to my iPad (iPadOS 17).

Is it possible to open the pictures on the external drive or do I have to import them to "Pictures" first?

Thank you for reaching us. The Photoshop Express application allows you to access photos to edit from your photo library. If the pictures on the external drive are accessible through the photo library, then no changes need to be made; if not, you have to import them into the photo library of your device.
