I'd like to be able to change the background of my images in the mobile app like I can in the desktop version. I have seen multiple sites that say you already can and if that's the case, I can't figure it out. So my follow up suggestion is, if this is already a feature, to make it more user friendly or at least offer an in app tutorial.

Hi @Amber32044946q9o5 ,

The feature of removing background is in place. Could you please help me know the device details you are using to access Photohsop Express application. Also please share the version of the application installed.

We are here to help you. However, you can refer the below steps to remove background:

You can cut out a part or multiple parts of a picture to isolate what you need. For example, you may want to isolate the object from the background.

To cutout and select objects, do the following:

  • Open the image in the Mix workflow.
  • Tap Cutout.
  • Photoshop Express detects all the objects present in the image. Select a particular object or multiple objects.
  • If an object is missing from the selection, tap Add and use Smartcut to select the missing object.
  • Accept the changes to cutout the selected objects.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you,

Neelam
