What kind of raw file(s) are you trying to open? What error message do you get when you try?

  • cr2 (CANON)
  • crw (CANON)

Hi Anne-Trine

CR3 is not listed as a supported file type, but CR2, CRW and DNG are.

@Benjamuna

I don't know if this will help or not.

You didn't give us your camera model, but I saw that Photoshop (not Photoshop Express) just released an update that mostly includes support for newer camera models and lenses. They need to test these before adding them and usually add them in a group several times a year. Do you see your recent model in this list?

https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

I don't know if Express supports the same models that Photoshop does or not, but if you do see your model in the PS list, be sure to keep up with the updates for Express.

I am a volunteer and do not work for Adobe and am only hoping that Express updates their list of devices when Photoshop does.

Hi everyone,

Im having similar issues. Using a Sony ILCE 6700 and I'm unable to see the ARW files on Photoshop express ver 24.14.1. Using iPhone 13 updated to IOS 17.4.1. It's showing that it is a RAW file but no thumbnail. Photo attached

I bought my Canon D90 during the pandemic, and Adobe Potoshop Express is still not able to import my RAW files ... (CR3). Very disappointed about this. How many years of testing will it take?
