Saving photos

I have Photoshop Express installed on my iPad Air. How do I import a photo from my Nikon digital camera? How do I save a photo to an external hard drive?

John replies to John, because there is no Edit capability.

1. there is a good description in the iPad User Guide, but it is not simple or efficient.

Hook up the appropriate cables. 

The camera/chip contents will appear in the Recents section of the iPad screen

Tap save in the upper right corner of the screen (box with arrow up)

Scroll down to ...More

Tap Save to Files

Tap PS Express

BUT the saved file fomat is JPEG only, no option for TIFF. So all your effort to have a high resolution image is wasted!

BTW, the import RAW feature is only available in Photoshop Express Premium.
