Never have images in the "Recent Files" section at start MIX and FIX - why?

In both Adobe PS Fix and Adobe PS Mix, at the start page, once I'm logged-in and I select the symbol to add a photo, the first option "Recent Files" never shows any options.

What should be here?

I'm writing a tutorial on both of these apps and want to provide the best information for my students.
