Is the damage also present when re-opening the image in Photoshop proper?

Otherwise you may want to poste over on

We are working on trying to find the root cause of this issue. Possible routes to get back to a good file

1. from the organizer/my work duplicate the document and open the duplicate file

2. Use asets/adobe.com and open the file and use the versioning option (clock icon on right side) to go back to a state before the problem occurred
