I added a raw image in LR choose the option to edit in photoshop, I've done my edits combined layers but can't get the blue option that says "edit in Lightroom" in the top left corner. its not there, I can export as jpeg tiff png etc but no way to transfer back to LR as raw. Was I suppose to do the LR edit first? I read the tutorial and have send the option to open in LR. Lost TY for any help

The "Send to Lightroom" button should be there from the moment the file was imported to Photoshop and opened. Was it there and then it disappeared? Can you try with another photo? Maybe take some screen shots too so we can help analyze the issue.

I checked all of my files (5) and non had the option. I just read on the website once photos are saved to cloud you do not have the option to send them back to Lightroom. I must have it set to auto save to cloud. I did this in multiple sessions. I think if I add the same image from Lightroom and combine the two images mask out the original I should be okay to send it back before it auto saves. I'm going to attempt that I will update. thank you

You only have the option to "Send to Lightroom" when you open the file directly from Lightroom. If it is a Cloud document, the "Send to Lightroom" is not available.

And, by the way, the current functionality in "Open in Photoshop" from Lightroom doesn't allow for sending multiple images to Photoshop at one time (you can't do "Open as Layers in Photoshop" as you can in Lightroom Classic). So the "Open in Photoshop"/"Send to Lightroom" round trip workflow is only good for single files at a time in its current state.
