Nothing works

I am just starting but how frustrating right off the bat I am unable to make any of the new tools work. I press on them go to lasso something and nothing can anyone explain why this is happening

We'd love to help, but you're going to have to provide some more detail. Can you show a screen capture of your work? Tell us what you have done, and what you are trying to do, with more detail. "Nothing works" doesn't help us help you.

If the app seems locked up, can you try to uninstall and reinstall it and see if it helps? Please let us know.
